General Information

Insider’s Guide to Aalborg offers digital content, a members’ portal, guides, inspiration, events and other online material via www.guidetoaalborg.dk through the purchase of a subscription.

To access the content, you must read and accept the terms and conditions for purchases and  subscriptions.

The terms and conditions outlined below make up the agreement between you, the user, and Insider’s Guide to Aalborg.

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase access.

Services and access

Insider’s Guide to Aalborg offers the following services, among others:

• A subscription-based membership.
• Digital guides and articles.
• Member forums and online Q&A sessions 

You must create a user account in order to access all services and content.

When you purchase a membership, you will gain access to a members-only portal on www.guidetoaalborg.dk via your personal user account. The members' portal is regularly updated with new content, guides, recommendations, events and other member benefits.

Access to the members' portal is valid for as long as your membership is active. 

Delivery

You will have access to the service you have purchased immediately after payment has been completed. You will receive two (2) emails a week, one Life Guide with an associated article published in Simplero, and one Guide to Weekly Events. In addition to the emails, you can access your services via the personal user account that you create when making your purchase.

Registration and user access

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide when registering is correct.

When registering, you will need to create login details consisting of an email address and a password. Your login details are personal and must not be shared with others.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account.

If you suspect that your account has been compromised, please contact Insider’s Guide to Aalborg immediately and change your password.

It is not permitted to copy, resell, distribute or share materials from the members’ portal or digital products without the written permission of Insider’s Guide to Aalborg. This also applies to sharing of materials for educational purposes.

Insider’s Guide to Aalborg reserves the right to suspend user accounts in the event of misuse or a breach of these terms and conditions.

We cannot guarantee that the website will always be available without interruptions, errors or technical problems.

Price and payment

All prices on the website are quoted in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT.

Payment can be made using the payment methods listed on the website.

When purchasing a subscription, membership fees are paid in advance, either monthly or annually, depending on the package chosen.

Payment will only be taken once you have gained access to the members' portal or the product you have purchased.

Insider’s Guide to Aalborg uses a secure payment solution with SSL encryption.

Automatic subscription renewal

When you purchase a subscription, your membership is automatically renewed at the end of each subscription period. 

 Payment will be taken automatically via your chosen payment method until the subscription is cancelled.

Cancellation of subscription

All memberships are non-binding.

You can cancel your subscription at any time via “My Account” on the website.

When a subscription is cancelled, access to the members’ portal will continue until the end of the subscription period for which payment has already been made.

Changes and adjustments

Insider’s Guide to Aalborg reserves the right to change prices, member benefits, content and subscription terms at any time.

Significant changes will be announced at least 30 days before they come into effect.

If you continue your membership after the changes come into effect, you will be deemed to have accepted them.

Right of withdrawal

As a general rule, there is no right of withdrawal for purchases of digital products and memberships once the delivery of the digital content has begun, and you have accepted this at the time of purchase.

Complaints

If you encounter any problems with your purchase or access, please contact us at contact@guidetoaalborg.dk
 The provisions of the Sale of Goods Act relating to defects may apply to the purchase of digital products.
 If you have found an issue, you must make your complaint within a reasonable time-frame.

Limitation of liability

Insider’s Guide to Aalborg cannot be held liable for any indirect losses, loss of profit or consequential damages arising from the use of the website or the members’ portal.

You are at all times obliged to keep yourself informed of applicable laws and regulations, for example regarding parking and other content provided by Insider's Guide to Aalborg.

We reserve the right to correct any errors in prices, descriptions or technical details.

Right to make a complaint

Privacy Policy

When you make a purchase with Insider’s Guide to Aalborg, we collect the information necessary to provide the service to you.

The information will be treated confidentially and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

We will retain your information for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and in accordance with applicable legislation.

You have the right to access the information we process about you, as well as the right to have that information corrected or deleted where permitted by law.
